Full Day Care

We at Buttercup Childcare, will be holding an open day in our service on Friday 12th April 2024 from 5.30-7.30pm. Current and new families are welcome to attend, to experience the environment on offer for both preschool and after school children on a daily basis.

Buttercup Childcare currently is a part time service offering sessional and part time places up to 5 hours daily.  We cater for Breakfast Club from 7.45am to 8.45am before dropping the children to primary school.  From 8.45am to 1.45pm we provide 5-hour preschool service accommodating children aged from 2 years and 8 months old.  After school collections then begin from 1.40 and 2.40 providing supervised homework support followed by lots of fun and games with school age children for the evening up to 6.10pm daily. 

We can now confirm that from September 2024 we are delighted to announce the structure of our business will change to a Full Day Care service.  Our full day care service will be offering 12 full day care places for children aged 2-3 years from 8.30am – 5.30pm daily.  In addition to this we will be reducing the age range within our year 1 preschool room from 2 years and 8 months down to 2 years and 5 months allowing us to offer a further 8 full day care places to children from age 2yr.&5mt. to 2yr.&8mt. old.  Our part time service will also be extending from currently 16 children up to 24 providing a further 8 places for eligible preschool children to remain in childcare for up to 5 hours daily.  Full day care places will only be offered to families who opt for 5 days and lesser days will only be offered in exceptional circumstances. 

We have no doubt this new service with the addition of 20 new childcare places will benefit the community greatly where families and working parents find it very difficult to secure childcare and childminders which has been a massive challenge as parents try to return to the workplace.  All enquires should be made through our website enquiry form: https://app.eccesoftware.com/externalEnquiries.aspx?BranchID=Mzk0MQ%3D%3D

Deposit to secure your place:

The full day care deposit has been set at €300 per child. This will secure your place for as long as you need a place. This deposit is fully refundable and can be offset against fees coming to the end of your childcare with Buttercup Childcare.

Childcare place cancellation, before your child starts:

Should you no longer want your childcare place your deposit will be refunded in full if we have 6 full calendar months notice. 50% with 3 full calendar months notice and no deposit will be refunded  with less than 3 full calendar months notice.
